Program Description

We cordially invite you to join us in support of “Forward Jackson,” an aggressive five-year economic development initiative.

 A cross section of the Jackson-Madison County community and business leaders developed the program which has focused objectives and a specific performance measurement tracking matrix. Program goals include deliverable results in job growth; business attraction, retention, expansion; workforce development; and strengthening of community foundations.

 The goal for the initiative is $3.8 million provided from all sectors of the community.

 The funds will be used to:

 • Create a minimum of 3,000 jobs in targeted business sectors.

• Strengthen our community's foundation.

• Communicate with investors and the community at large.

 We have agreed to serve as leaders of the “Forward Jackson” Campaign with our investment of time and money. We believe this comprehensive effort is the most significant campaign for economic development to date for the Jackson-Madison County area.

 Now we ask you, and other select business and community leaders, to join us in support of “Forward Jackson.”  Your support indicates that you believe in this continuing effort to maintain and improve the economy by strengthening our community.
