Learn how to keep your business strong in today's economy

Jackson, TN – Whether you’re an experienced CEO or just starting your company, it’s OK to have questions about how to keep your business thriving. Earlier this month, the Chamber asked its members to send in questions they have about growing a strong business during an economy in recovery.

Four local business experts will be on hand to address these questions during the “B” for Business Breakfast session from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28 at the Chamber, 197 Auditorium St. in Jackson. This month’s session is called “Best Practices for Surviving the Recession.”

“Even though many may experience some of the same issues in their business, sometimes they’re hesitant to ask what to do in front of others,” said Judy Renshaw, senior vice president of business and community services at the Chamber. “This will give people an opportunity to ask a question without their name being used and receive sound suggestions from our panel.”

“B” for Business will begin with a light breakfast from 7:45 a.m. to 8 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to network during that time. The business talk will begin at 8 a.m. and last until 9 a.m. Chamber members can bring a guest if that person has never attended “B” for Business before. The program is free to attend.

“B” for Business, sponsored by the Hamilton-Ryker Company, is held the last Thursday of each month. Space is limited, and recent sessions have been filled to capacity, so make your reservation now by calling (731) 427-7900 or e-mailing bstutsman@jacksontn.com.
